Clementine was diagnosed with a very serious eye condition on October 3, 2012. She is blind from a retinal detachment in her right eye, and is also suffering Glaucoma in her right eye.
After an exhausting, depressing week, we needed a diversion. We took Clemee to The Great Pumpkin Patch in Arthur, Illinois on Sunday, October 7, 2012. We threw on some comfortable, old clothes, put Clemee's harness on, and away we went. Clemee wasn't even brushed out for this photo shoot. We had a great time!
You will see Clemee's right eye is affected. That doesn't make her any less beautiful. I love my Clemee, and I am even more determined to improve the quality of life she already has and so deserves. We are going to find more days like this so she can enjoy life to its fullest.
You will also see what a professional model My Clemee really is. All these photos were taken in the midst of a crowd, with all sorts of distractions. She did a wonderful job of posing for me. I'm so proud of My Clementine.
